The Merced Superior Court announces that we will be upgrading our online payment site from the Online Portal to Tyler Technologies Defendant Access. Our new site will offer you the ability to make full and partial payments. It supports the automated payment plan options, and you may sign up for automated SMS text reminders, so you don't miss a payment. As the Court continues to improve our services, it is even more important to provide equal access while enhancing the customer experience.

Californians report receiving deceptive texts claiming unpaid tolls from the DMV. The DMV never requests personal or financial information via text. If you receive one, do not open or reply. Please refer to DMV website for more information: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/

Merced Superior Court Announces Its Plan to Mitigate the Spread of the COVID-19

On March 12, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-25-20 in further response to the spread of the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). Among other things, this Order mandates compliance with state and local public health officials as pertains to measures to control the spread of COVID-19. Subsequently, the Merced County Public Health Department (Public Health) issued its Guidance for Mass Gatherings. The guidance recommends that all nonessential gatherings of more than 250 persons be cancelled or postponed. Read the full press release.
