Vendors

Bids, Quotes and Proposals

Merced Superior Court welcomes bids, quotes, and proposals from businesses based in the United States for needed goods and services. However, under the Darfur Contracting Act, "scrutinized companies" that do business in the African nation of Sudan (of which the Darfur region is a part), are generally ineligible to submit a bid/quote for goods or services. (Public Contract Code sec. 10475-10481)

Public Contract Code sec. 10478(a) requires a company that currently has (or within the previous three years has had) business activities or other operations outside of the United States to certify that it is not a "scrutinized company" in order to submit a bid, quote, or proposal to the court for non-IT goods or services. If this applies to your U.S. business, please review the Darfur Contracting Act Certification Form. If applicable, complete the form and submit with your bid, quote, or proposal.

Note: if your company, within the previous three years, has not had any business activities or other operations outside of the United States, you do not need to complete this form.

How to Respond

Vendors wishing to reply to a Request for Quote MUST USE the attached Request for Quote form from the individual request page. The form may be filled out on computer or by hand. Replies should be faxed or emailed to the person or persons listed on the request for quote.

Evaluation Criteria

Evaluation Criteria are proprietary to each Request for Quote. Please read the individual Request for Quote carefully to insure you have addressed each of the evaluation criteria.

Notification of Status

The Merced Superior Court will maintain status on individual requests on this site. Winning responders will be notified by email, phone, or fax and by the issuance of a Purchase Order. Unsuccessful respondents will not be notified except that this quote will be assigned the status of Awarded.
